How to order stationery from Lovebug Designs
All Lovebug Designs Stationery and Accessories are individually hand made for each couple – so it is totally unique. This means that you can order exactly what you need, tailored to your requirements – with no minimum order.
I believe every couple has different ideas about their special day and for that reason your stationery should reflect your personality. Inspiration can be taken from the theme you have chosen, the flowers in your bouquet or the colour of your Bridesmaids dresses. Most brides send a swatch of the material so I can match it to the ribbon colour. I can incorporate diamante, flowers, rhinestone buckles, butterflies, hearts, printed designs, monograms, satin or organza ribbon – the list is endless.

If you would like to discuss your ideas or do not know where to begin, I can arrange a no obligation consultation so I can discuss the options with you. I can do this over the telephone or you can meet me click here for details. That way, we can discuss colours, themes, timescales and budget. From our conversation I can build up a picture of your style, the type of wedding you are planning e.g. contemporary, chic, funky or traditional. I can also give you ideas about the type of stationery that will suit your wedding and where to focus on the colours and theme.
All stationery can be produced as a complete suite including Order of Service, place cards, table names, menus, table plan - as well as favours and guest books using the same design theme or colours to give a complete co-ordinated look for your special day. Once you have chosen your invitation style, leave the rest to me and I will create a complete package that will wow your guests.
Lovebug Designs welcomes all orders – large or small - and everything will receive the same attention to detail, so even if you have your stationery already, you are welcome to place an order for the remaining items you may need such as a Guest Book or Post Box.
There are three ways to order stationery.
- You can purchase a sample invitation. If the design you have chosen is shown on my gallery then the cost for this service is £5 per sample. A maximum of 2 invitation samples can be ordered. The price of one sample will be refunded against any future orders. The purpose of ordering a sample is to see the quality of my work and how the card, ribbon and embellishments work together. Alterations can be made, but charges will be made for this. Please go to the samples page to order. For bespoke stationery design, please contact me to discuss and I will quote on the cost to design and create something individual for you. For bespoke design - any payments made for the design will not be refunded against an order, just the sample cost of £5.
- If you have already seen my work at a Wedding or a Wedding Fair you may not wish to pay for a sample in the first instance. If this is the case and you would like to place an order, once we have discussed your requirements I can send you a sample sheet with card and ribbon swatches and an order form. When I have received the order form, swatch sheet and deposit I will make a sample invite of your design free of charge using the materials chosen (free sample only available on invitation orders over £150). One set of changes can be made – subsequent changes will be charged for.
- If you have already sent your invites out to your guests, but would like to order any of the other items from me such as Order of Service, Menus, place cards etc. Then the same applies for ordering these. Once we have discussed your requirements by email or phone I can send you a sample sheet with card and ribbon swatches and an order form. When I have received the order form, swatch sheet and deposit I will make a sample of the product in your chosen design free of charge using the materials chosen (free sample only available on orders over £150). One set of changes can be made – subsequent changes will be charged for. Samples are not available of individual items such as Table Plans, Post Boxes, Guest Books, etc. For these items, by signing the order form and sample sheet you are giving consent for Lovebug Designs to use artistic interpretation to create your finished product based on the original design concept and sample materials provided.
