Consultations
Before placing an order with Lovebug Designs you may wish to see some samples of my work. If you live in the Worcestershire area I can arrange a private appointment for you to view my portfolio. I do not have a set range of designs for you to choose from as each wedding is individual and a design will depend completely on the clients requirements. However, if you see something in my portfolio, which is just what you need, I can tailor it so the colours match your day perfectly.
Samples
For invitations, samples can be made for a charge of £10 which includes postage. This cost will be deducted from the final amount if an order over £200 is placed with Lovebug Designs. When requesting samples, please bear in mind that all Lovebug Designs stationery is copyright to Lovebug Designs and the sample must not be copied in part or whole under any circumstances and legal action will be sought if the copyright laws are abused. For other items such as favours, table plans, keepsake boxes and albums, a sample sheet of materials based on your theme and colours will be sent to you free of charge along with a freehand drawing for your approval. By signing the confirmation form you are giving consent for Lovebug Designs to use artistic interpretation to create your finished product based on the original design concept and sample materials provided. Occasionally alternative materials may have to be sourced due to discontinuation etc. Lovebug Designs will endeavour to match all materials as close to the original sample as possible. The client will be advised before production of stationery commences.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required when placing a wedding stationery order. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is required once the proofs have been signed off by the client. Please bear in mind when ordering stationery that once quantities have been agreed and signed for then materials will be ordered by Lovebug Designs. In the event of the client changing the quantity for a much lesser number, excess materials left over from the original quantity will be charged for. All other Lovebug Designs accessories e.g. Albums, guest books, keepsake boxes, favours and table plans require full payment before production. Payment is by cheque or PayPal. Please make cheques payable to 'Lovebug Designs', or pay through PayPal with a debit or credit card via my contact page. All PayPal payments will be charged a 4% transaction fee. Prices quoted to you by e-mail, phone or post are valid for a term of 30 days.
Stationery Proofs
Proof-reading is the responsibility of the client. Please check the proof with great care and in detail to ensure it meets your requirements. The proof has been prepared to allow you the opportunity to check for errors and mistakes, both yours and mine. I cannot accept liability for errors, however caused, which are evident in the proof and not indicated by you at this stage. You are liable for all relevant costs incurred in correcting such mistakes once the proof has been approved. Changes made to the design or wording specifications may incur additional charges if work has already begun on an item.
Lovebug Designs cannot be held responsible for any errors that go unnoticed after the proofs have been approved or for gaining copyright permission for the use of hymns used in the Order of Service. Hymns are used at the client's discretion.

Manufacture
All Lovebug Designs stationery is individually handmade and are therefore subject to minor variations, these are not considered faults. Manufacture of stationery will only commence once final payment and proofs (signed and dated) have been received from the client. Any changes made to the order once manufacture has commenced may incur additional charges. Unless by prior agreement, a minimum lead time of 10 - 12 weeks should be allowed from receipt of proofs and final payment to delivery of the order.
Delivery
I aim to despatch stationery orders within 10 - 12 weeks from receipt of final payment and proofs. I will notify you immediately if this cannot be met. If you require an order sooner, please contact me and I will try my best to accommodate you. Accessories are subject to a 6 - 8 weeks delivery schedule (after payment clearance). Lovebug Designs cannot take responsibility for late delivery due to factors outside our control (e.g. postal strike). Once the order has been dispatched Lovebug Designs will not accept responsibility for loss or damage during transit, for this I recommend you take out insurance. All orders are sent by either Special Delivery, or for larger/heavier orders by courier, and will require a signature to accept delivery. The cost will be specified on the quote. I will endeavour to ensure that your stationery order arrives to you in perfect condition. Any damages during the postal process must be notified to me within 2 days of receipt of your order. Lovebug Designs will not be held responsible for any damages which occur when you post your invitations to your guests.
Copyright
All copyright and design rights associated with my designs belong to Lovebug Designs. This includes the designs, any variations of the design (which may have been tailored specifically for a client), the final products themselves and the images of the designs. I reserve the right to use the images on my website and in any publications (all personal details will be replaced by fictional details). Designs must not be copied in their entirety or part without prior consent from the copyright owner. Abusers of the copyright laws will be prosecuted. All content, images and text on this website belong to Lovebug Designs. All Lovebug Designs creations will feature a small branded label.
Safety
Due to the delicate nature and embellishments on Lovebug Designs stationery and accessories, they are not suitable for small children.
Returns/Refunds/Cancellations
Lovebug Designs will not refund or exchange goods unless they are faulty and work on replacement stationery will not commence until all items in question are returned to me. In the event of any cancellation Lovebug Designs will retain the 50% deposit. If cancellation is made after work has commenced, I reserve the right to retain final payment, to cover any additional costs I may have incurred. Because all Lovebug Designs wedding stationery and accessories are entirely made to order they are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
